Why Should I Do It For You?

Why Should I Do It For You?

Before attempting to solve a situation first, I am noticing that most people would rather ask for help. And I am not saying that there is anything wrong with asking for help—because I ask for help too. However, attempt to problem solve on your own first—in everything. Problem solving is important because we all have decisions to make, and questions to answer in our lives. For example, when I first started my Youtube page, I was confused, intimidated, and overwhelmed with the editing software called adobe premiere. It felt like I couldn’t figure anything out. It was like looking at a 1000 tiny pieces of a jigsaw puzzle all over the floor. But with enough practice while using the software and messing up, I am able to navigate a little better. Don’t misconstrue this text…I still struggle. What I am saying is—don’t be afraid to fail by not trying for yourself first. It’s all trial and error. That’s technically what life is. And please don’t come on this post bashing me for speaking my truth. (Because that seems like the trend nowadays—people can’t state an opinion without being verbally bashed). Below here are some steps to take in the problem solving process.

6 Steps of the Problem Solving Process

  1. Identify the problem. ...

  2. Do your own research. ...

  3. Look for possible solutions. ...

  4. Make a decision. ...

  5. Put that decision into action. ...

  6. Await results.

So at the end of the day, please don’t be afraid to research and take a risk on your own when trying to figure something out…..just try on your own first. This is how you build problem solving skills and endurance level. You might surprise yourself and be pleased with the outcome. Thanks for reading and see you next week.

XOXO
